​👋 I'm Bethany, a senior graphic designer with 10+ years of experience turning ideas into visuals that connect. I've designed a lot in my time—from direct mail to email campaigns, social media, websites, tradeshow booths, and even textiles (when round beach towels had a moment).
What ties my skillset all together is my passion for the customer experience. Good design isn't just pixel-perfect alignment and picking the prettiest typeface. It's about conscious choices and designs that ultimately speak to, and are accessible to, the right audience. It’s about constantly learning and improving to do the most good—for my clients, my colleagues, and my community.

I've spent most of my time in the higher education and technology industries, but I've also collaborated with mental health and biotechnology companies. On a personal note...
It's nice to step away from the computer and work with my hands on other creative hobbies. I rediscovered a passion for sewing during the 2020 lockdown, and eventually transitioned from sewing masks to bags, wallets, and the occasional newfoundland drool bib. Hunting for the right fabric and pattern and watching things come to life in my hands is really rewarding. I enjoy sewing things for other people more than myself most of the time.
My husband and I also tackle the occasional home improvement project. We like to think we're handy, but optimism and resourcefulness are good to have, too.
