CCR Building Signage

Graphic Design | Exterior Signage

2022-2025

OBJECTIVE:

The logistics team at CCR wanted to refresh their door graphics. The current design was still somewhat plain and some delivery drivers would pass right by or deliver to the incorrect door. With the warehouse doors also looking dingy and beat-up in spots, we looked into doing a full-color door wrap.

Later on, CCR's warehouse outgrew its space and moved to a separate building. We needed to update the vinyl door wrap at the main building and create several door graphics for the new warehouse location.

In 2025, CCR also opened an office in Utah for several team members located in the space. The facilities team requested that I get some signage for this new office.

PROCESS:

I began by measuring the available space/the full door(s). I had to measure and note each element on the door that would affect the wrap: door handles, peep holes, etc. I also took photos that I could use in my mockups to place the obstacles and work around them. In addition, the signage company I worked with came out and took measurements of the door(s) to check against my files.

The designs were mostly created in InDesign using vector and text elements. Thanks to a prior project for BeyondReach's equipment stickers, I knew that shades of red are the fastest colors to fade. The door wrap on the CCR HQ warehouse doors would be facing south and receiving 100% sun, so I kept the use of CCR's orange minimal to avoid fading of important information.
