2022 - 2023
OBJECTIVE:
In 2022, my client contracted me to develop a logo and light brand identity for a new therapy office opening locally. After a year of success, I was re-contracted to build a more professional and optimized website to help them bring in new clients, as well as new therapy staff.
PROCESS:
My client's desire was for the logo to include a hot air balloon (tying to RISE) and some mandala elements. I drew the initial hot air balloon design on my iPad and then brought it into Illustrator to clean up the vectors and start experimenting with layout and fonts.
I made intentional choices to support my client's vision of a vibrant and accessible clinic that would combat the mental health stigma that exists in rural communities. The offices are frequently located on small-town main streets, and use big colorful signage to set themselves apart. She wanted the main brand colors to be purple and turquoise, so I built a color palette that utilized those colors but was also WCAG-friendly for web.
